Behavioural Counselling
One-to-One Behavioural Counselling
You’re not alone anymore, Go Fetch It can help! We offer professional behavioural counselling in your own home dealing with any behavioural issues you are experiencing with your dog. Common problems we see include:
- Separation Anxiety
- Attention Seeking
- Fears/Phobias
- Excessive Barking
- Destructive Behaviour
- House toileting
- Food Scavenging
- Chasing vehicles/people
- Socialisation issues
During a behavioural consultation a profile of your dogs behaviour will be built up and your trainer will advise you on the problem. Initial consultations last approximately two hours to assess and discuss the behavioural problem and to design a practical training programme specific to the needs of you and your dog . A full written behavioural report and training programme will be emailed to you following the consultation. We endeavour to give you all the advice and information you need in your session however behavioural problems are complex by nature and in some cases follow up sessions may be necessary. Following a consultation please expect a lot of hard work and commitment on your part in order to improve your dog’s behaviour. We will be here to support you every step of the way. We encourage correspondence via email and telephone so that we can keep updated on your progress with your pet. We run a Behavioural clinic at Golden Valley Vets in Nailsea on Monday’s and Wednesday’s, some problems, or if you are unable to make the clinic, may require a home visit which is charged at a higher rate.
